“We are delighted that Haut-Lac have chosen to join The ECO Seek Foundation. Our Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting ecologically sustainable development through the future leaders of tomorrow.
Our goal is to assist and enable students to discover and unlock their potential to environmental sustainable solutions within the wider international educational community”
The Haut-Lac International Bilingual School educates students from around the world, side by side with local Swiss students. Within the framework of an academically rigorous, student-centred programme, the school strives to create a stimulating bilingual environment which takes into account the diverse cultural backgrounds of the 650 children aged 3 to 18 years in its care. Their studies culminate in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, complimented by a wide variety of extra-curricular activities including a robust environmental programme.
As a community, Haut-Lac endeavours to reflect positive moral, social and educational values, and aims to develop in its students the skills, knowledge and character required to become responsible citizens, confident of taking their place in a rapidly changing, inter-dependent, global society.
Haut-Lac are committed to continuous development in all aspects of the education offered and believe in, to achieve this.
The ECO Seek Foundation is building a global community of students. The educational standard and unique award programme's promote student development and leadership through sustainable continuous improvement within the context of the current educational curriculum.
The unique ECO Seek programme strongly supports the culture and commitment of Haute-Lac which emphasises working together with the parents, as well as the local and international communities to achieve outstanding educational results.
An essential aspect of the ECO Seek Foundation work is to merge education, knowledge, cross curricular activity and student development with the everyday activities and practices of the international education community.
